Hype Film
This hype video puts the visual language into motion, showing how the concept could extend into short-form content and game-day hype pieces. (Audio is a temporary scratch track for demonstration only; final production would use licensed or original music.)
Magazine Cover Concept
The anchor piece. I treated this like a magazine cover because Iowa Wrestling carries itself like a brand, not just a program, and deserves cover treatment that reflects that. The collage composition and the "24x NCAA National Champions" framing assert dominance, while the screaming athletes and hawk imagery push the grit and emotion the sport is built on.
Athlete Graphic
A single-athlete design built around Angelo Ferrari and his story. Ferrari closed his high school career on a 102-0 run over his final three seasons before arriving at Iowa as the No. 1 ranked recruit in the country. His redshirt freshman campaign ended bitter with a semifinal loss forcing him to medically forfeit at the 2026 NCAA Championships, a setback that becomes the fire behind this piece.
Game-Day Graphic
A game-day graphic for the in-state Cy-Hawk rivalry, structured around the functional needs of a real meet-day post: the matchup, date, conference, and sponsor lockups. The mirrored stares between the Iowa athlete and the hawk carry the tension of a rivalry that shifted in November 2025, when Iowa State beat Iowa for the first time in over two decades.
