Social Media Content
Designed a multi-slide Instagram carousel to announce results for the UI Libraries bookmark design contest. Each slide balanced student artwork with clean typographic hierarchy, giving the winning pieces room to shine while keeping the presentation on-brand and visually consistent across the series.
Short Form Videos
Created a 7-second animated graphic for National Library Worker Day, built entirely in After Effects.
Digital Signage
Designed a series of digital signage displays running across screens throughout the UI Libraries, each concept developed independently from brief to final execution. The range spans service awareness, event promotion, and social media growth with each piece keeping the Iowa brand consistent while still feeling designed for its specific purpose.
Printed Signage
Printed signage makes up the core of my work at the UI Libraries, and knowing these pieces will live on walls for months increases expectations on every decision. Each poster is designed to stop someone mid-walk, whether that's through a bold typographic concept, a strong color contrast, or an illustration that reframes a familiar service in an unexpected way.
Library Direction Pop-Ups
Designed directional event posters placed throughout the UI Libraries to guide foot traffic and build excitement for drop-in events. Each poster needed to do two things at once, inform and entice, so illustration and typography carry equal weight in the design.
Library Bookshelf Panel's
Designed a series of large-format bookshelf panels installed throughout the UI Libraries, each built to capture the essence of the subject matter it represents.
Orchestrating Community Exhibit
Contributed original design work to the UI Libraries' spring 2026 semester exhibition, Orchestrating Community: The Public Service of Iowa Conductor James Dixon. Working within a larger campaign led by my director, I designed a faculty outreach flyer and a suite of print and digital posters to promote the exhibit across campus. Each piece was built around the subject matter itself, using archival photography, musical notation, and a bold black and gold palette to honor Dixon's legacy while staying visually consistent with the Iowa Libraries brand.
